I found my first home, what do I do next?
  1. Contact First Home Buyers Registry
  2. Obtain a contract of sale
  3. Place a holding deposit, this will secure your chosen property. Deposits are usually $1000 refundable
  4. Obtain home loan approval or bank guarantee
  5. Go through your contract with you conveyancer or solicitor
  6. Sign the contract of sale
  7. Pay the balance of deposit, this is usually 10%
  8. Settlement, new construction settlements will occur on completion of the development, for an existing property settlement is usually 6 weeks
  9. Welcome to your first home
Does First Home Buyers Registry get access to properties before public sale?

Yes, and if registered on our website First Home Buyers Registry clients will have access to property opportunities prior to public release.

How much deposit do I have to pay?

Usually a 10% deposit is taken or a bank guarantee. However contact FHBR should you wish to discuss alternative options.

Do the developers offer any incentives for First Home Buyers?
